St. Barths

St. Barths is a 16.1h Chestnut American Thoroughbred who joined the OCET in Ocala during the early spring of 2007. He is owned by Richard Thompson.

“Nike,” as he is known in the barn, is currently being ridden by Hannah Sue Burnett.  2009 has been a great year for this pair at the intermediate level.  They finished third at Virginia HT in May, second at Surefire HT in June and then won his first CIC** at the Cosequin Stuart Horse Trials in July.  Hannah and Nike led the pack from the start, earning a 45.6 in dressage, adding only 4.8 time faults from cross country, and having two rails in hand for show jumping.

The OCET was thrilled to watch Hannah Sue and Nike end their season on a real high, winning the Fair Hill International CCI** on a blustery weekend drenched with heavy rain, resulting in an endless sea of mud.

2010 was off to a great start with Hannah and Nike winning their first advanced HT together at The Fork in April.
