Hugh Knows
Congratulations to Ms. Jacqueline Mars on the purchase of this talented horse. In their first outing for Ms. Mars, Hugh and Karen finished the 2007 CCI*** at Fair Hill in 5th place with only 1.2 time faults added to their dressage score. Karen also earned the Leading Lady Rider Award.Click here for Fair Hill Photos.
Hugh Knows is a 16.3h Irish Sporthorse gelding. Karen was 3rd at the Ocala CCI** on him in the spring of 2007 and won the Advanced division at the Richland Park Horse Trials in August.
This pair started the 2008 season with a warmup at Intermediate at Rocking Horse II and finished 2nd. They were 4th at their first advanced run of the year, again at Rocking Horse, and then7th in the Gold Cup Advanced at Southern Pines. During the “monsoon” weekend at The Fork, Hugh and Karen had a great go, and placed 5th in the CIC *** World Cup division.
