Orlando Betancourt
Orlando is originally from Honduras and began working for the OCET in April
2001. Orlando works with all the horses in the program, and is also a "jack of
all trades," skillfully accepting each new assignment.
Orlando loves working around the farm, is great with the horses, and enjoys the
competitions, the people, and the chance to continue to learn more about the
sport of Eventing. He grew up on a farm in Honduras where he and his family had
horses and other animals, but he notes that the style of horse care is very
different in the US. He feels very lucky to be working with the O'Connors where
he always has the opportunity gain new knowledge and skills.
