Joker’s Wild
Joker’s Wild is a 16.1 hand bay Thoroughbred gelding. Foaled in 1989 in Ireland, he is
owned by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson of Malvern, PA. Karen called him an
elegant horse, with lovely gaits and a scopey jump. She said he was wonderful
to ride, especially on the cross-country course; he knew his job and really
loved it.
Joker was retired in 2005 after a third place finish at the Jersey Fresh CCI***
with Karen.
Highlights of his career with Karen include an individual Silver medal at the Pan American Games in the fall of
2003 and a 7th place finish at the Rolex CCI**** in the spring of that year! In
2002, Joker and Karen had a strong performance at the Blenheim CCI***
where they finished in 8th place.
Joker is now enjoying his retirement with his friend, Amber, aka Bally Mar.
